Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) Psychiatric Social Work is a 2-year postgraduate course at JSS Medical College and Hospital. It is a course where the students work with patients suffering from mental illness. The students work in varied settings such as clinics and hospitals to gain practical knowledge. They are also encouraged to join state-run mental health programmes to build a better perspective about the subject.
