Studying abroad/ abroad education has become the new Normal. Many students fly overseas to pursue their higher education. The number of students who travel abroad to complete their studies has been escalating every year. As per research, over 6 lakh students have travelled abroad in the year 2022.

The exam contains 4 sections which are: Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking. The exam is accepted by many American and Canadian countries

International English Language Testing System (IELTS): This exam is also to test the proficiency of non english speaking students. The exam is recognised by many countries like the USA, New Zealand, Canada, Australia, etc. This exam has 4 parts: Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking. The IELTS exam is offered many times in a year and the scorecard is valid for 2 years.

Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT): This is an exam for students who are looking to enrol into any undergraduate course in the USA. Many colleges in the United States accept SAT scores and students also get scholarships based on SAT score. The exam has 2 sections which are Evidence-based Reading & Writing and Mathematics.

Abroad Colleges have two intakes which are Fall and Spring Intakes. Fall intake starts from September and ends by December. The Spring intake begins in the month of January and goes up to May. Students can pick any one among the 2 options as per their convenience. 

There are 2 other important requirements for admission in a foreign university. First one being Statement of Purpose (SOP). SOP is an essay which has to be written by students. SOPs need to be submitted to colleges at the time of admissions. It’s mainly required to know the reason a student has chosen a particular college and course. Students briefly explain their past educational background and also their career paths and goals. The other prerequisite is Letter of Recommendation (LOR).
