Master of Dental Surgery (M.D.S.) Periodontics is a 3-year postgraduate program in Vokkaligara Sangha Dental College and Hospital. The students studying this course will deal with diseases of supporting and investing structures of the teeth, including gums, cemented and periodontal membranes, and alveolar bone. The course will help the practitioner to identify the techniques aimed at preventing the occurrence of and curing the spread of damage already caused due to oral infection with the extensive training and expertise.
