Master of Surgery (MS) Shalakya Tantra is a full-time 3-year post-graduate program in Sri Kalabyraveshwara Swamy Ayurvedic Medical College and Research Centre. The discipline deals with the integration of knowledge of Ayurveda and recent medical research in the field of Ophthalmology. The training prepares the student to manage diseases that affect the eye like diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and cataracts.
