The syllabus for Master of Technology (M.Tech) in Aerospace Engineering is built for the duration of the course, split into four semesters. The subjects covered in the first year are Aerospace Materials & Structure, Propulsion & Combustion, Aerodynamics & Performance, Space Technology, and Aerospace Vehicle System & Instrumentation. Candidates must have passed BE/ B.Tech in Aeronautical Engineering/ Aerospace Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ Civil Engineering/ Industrial Engineering & Management/ Industrial Production/ Automobile Engineering with not less than 50% marks (45% for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates) in aggregate of all the semesters/years of the degree examination or passed the Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers (AMIE) exam in the appropriate branch. They should have cleared the Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET)/ Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Civil Engineering with qualifying marks.
