Master of Surgery (MS) in General Surgery is a 3-year postgraduate program that teaches students to diagnose and treat surgical maladies. The course encompasses all aspects of surgical protocols including pre-operative, post-operative, and recuperative care of surgical patients. Students get hands-on experience in Applied Anatomy, Physiology, Pharmacology, Pathology, Microbiology, and Biochemistry. It is part of the curriculum for the students to get clinical postings at Inpatient, Outpatient, Maternity, Intensive Care Unit, Oncology, Trauma, Emergency, and Speciality wards.

The candidates should have completed MBBS or Postgraduate Diploma from any recognized medical college with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks.
