Master of Surgery (MS) in Orthopaedics is a 3-year postgraduate program that teaches students to identify congenital, developmental, traumatic, and oncologic disorders of the musculoskeletal system. Subjects taught include Basic & Complex Trauma, Arthroscopy, Arthroplasty, and Spinal physiology. The post graduate syllabus mandates the students to attend regular clinics, seminars, journal clubs, mortality meets, and interdepartmental meets. Post graduates are directed to teach the undergraduate students. They also carry out research works for dissertation in their final year of graduation.

The candidates should have completed MBBS or done their Postgraduate Diploma from any recognized medical college or university and passed the qualifying examination with 55% or above aggregate marks. They should have appeared for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Post Graduate Examination (NEET PG) and obtained the minimum cut-off percentile to specialize in Orthopaedics.
