Master of Science (M.Sc) in Nursing in Community Health Nursing is a 2-year postgraduate program offered to those aspiring to study advanced Clinical Nursing in Community Health. The students develop advanced nursing skills to tackle various community health issues. They learn issues related to community health such as Reproductive and Child Health, School Health, Occupational Health, International Health Rehabilitation, Geriatric and Mental Health. They are required to submit a research dissertation as a part of the curriculum. Subjects taught include Epidemiology, National Health and Family Welfare, International Health, Education and Administration, and Community Mental Health.

The candidates should have passed the Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Nursing/ Post Basic Bachelor of Science (P.B.B.Sc) in Nursing with 50% aggregate marks in their qualifying examination. They should have a one year experience certificate in nursing after completing their Bachelor’s degree. The upper age limit is 45 years as on May 31st of the year of admission.
