Master of Science (M.Sc) in Nursing in Obstetrics and Gynecological Nursing is a 2-year postgraduate program offered to those aspiring to study advanced Clinical Nursing in Obstetrics and Gynecology. The students receive knowledge of the evolving trends in midwifery, obstetrics and gynecology as a speciality. They learn to provide holistic healthcare to a woman during her reproductive period. They are required to submit a research dissertation as a part of the curriculum. Subjects taught include Human Reproduction, Pregnancy, Normal Labor and Nursing Management, Normal Puerperium and Nursing Management, and Pharmacodynamics in Obstetrics.

The candidates should have passed the Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Nursing/ Post Basic Bachelor of Science (P.B.B.Sc) in Nursing with 50% aggregate marks in their qualifying examination. They should have a one year experience certificate in Nursing after completing their Bachelor’s degree. The upper age limit is 45 years as on May 31st of the year of admission.
