Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) Shalya Tantra is a full-time 3-year postgraduate degree from JSS Ayurveda Medical College, Mysuru. The course is also known as Samanya. This course provides in-depth knowledge of the principles and features of modern surgery. The students will learn clinical, treatises, and surgical applications of various treatment modalities, treatment of chronic diseases, practical training with blood-letting through leeches etc.
