Doctor of Medicine (MD) Microbiology at AIMS is a 3-year post-graduate course where students acquire the knowledge in the sub-specialities of bacteriology. The course covers subjects such as mycobacteriology, virology, parasitology, immunology, and serology & mycology. They are prepared to deal with the diagnosis and prevention of infectious diseases in the community.
