MCA (Master of Computer Applications) is a 3-year postgraduate degree course in AMC Engineering College. It deals with a sound academic base in computer applications on the basis of which the latest advancements of the industry can be developed. It requires analysis and synthesis involved in computer systems, information systems, and computer applications. The 2-year course focuses on computer application-oriented courses like C++, Java, Web Application Development, etc. A graduate of this course can develop programming, networking and learn application packages, programming languages and modern techniques of Information Technology.

Candidates should have obtained a Bachelor Degree in any discipline from any recognised university with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of all subjects, including languages. Must have studied Mathematics/Business Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Science/Computer Applications/Computer Programming as one of the Optional/Elective subjects; if not studied a Bachelor Degree, must have passed one of the subjects specified above securing 50% of the marks in that subject in 12th standard, HSC, PUC, A level or Equivalent.
