Master of Arts (M.A.) English and Cultural Studies is a 2-year master's course at Business Studies and Social Sciences, Christ (Deemed-to-be) University, Hosur. The course focuses on the cultural, historical, social, political and technological aspects of whatever we read in texts like literature, media, etc. The students need to have analytical and creative skills in order to do research and develop the independence of their thoughts. They get hands-on training in critical reading and academic writing skills.
