Doctor of Medicine (MD) Moalajat (Medicine) is a 3-year postgraduate course in National Institute of Unani Medicine (NIUM), Bangalore. Moalajat is equivalent to general medicine. It is one of the main specialities of Unani Medicine. The students are taught the health and diseases of the human body with reference to the theories and concepts of Unani Medicine. The students are taught how to manage the ailments with the principles of treatment by Ilaj Bil Dawa / and Ilaj Bit Tadbeer /and Ilaj bil Ghiza.
