They must have studied English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as mandatory subjects in their Pre-university or 12th standard. They must secure a pass mark in all the subjects and a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology combined.
5½ Years (including one-year mandatory internship)
The applying aspirant must have passed 2 years of Pre-University or 12th standard examination conducted by a recognized educational board. He/ she must have studied English as one of the subjects alongside Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as mandatory subjects. The total aggregate marks obtained by the candidate must not be less than 50%.
4 Years
The RGUHS applying candidates must have passed 2 years of Pre-University or 12th standard examination. The applicants must have studied PCM/ PCB/ PCMB/ PCME/ PCMC with an aggregate of not less than 50% marks. The candidates who have passed the Diploma in Pharmacy course with not less than 60% aggregate are also eligible for the program and shall be permitted for the 2nd Year B.Pharm course.
4 Years (Including 24 weeks mandatory internship)
Aspirants must have passed the Pre-University or 12th Standard examination. They must have passed the mandatory subjects, i.e., English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology individually, with 45% marks.

Candidates must have passed the final year BNYS examination from any of the affiliated universities. They must complete a 1-year compulsory rotatory internship in a teaching institution or other institutions.
The candidates should also obtain a permanent registration from any of the Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences Colleges recognized by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore. Those holding a correspondence degree are not eligible for the course.

The candidates applying for the scholarship must fulfil the following criteria:
1. The student applying for the RGUHS scholarship must have studied for at least 10 years or more in Karnataka.
2. MBBS and BDS students must have scored more than 80%, whereas the students of other health science courses must have scored more than 60% in 10+2 or other equivalent examinations.
3. The RGUHS, Bangalore applying candidate’s parents' annual income must not exceed more than Rs. 6 lakhs per annum.
