Bengaluru City University, formerly called Bengaluru Central University, is a state university located in Bangalore. Bengaluru Central University was established in 1858 and was renamed Bengaluru City University in 2017.
With more than 160 years of legacy, the university is regarded to be one of the best state universities in Karnataka. Bengaluru Central University was initially started in the year 1858 as ‘Bengaluru High School’ by the British Government with only 5 students.

The MBA aspiring candidates must have completed a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from any recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of all subjects, including languages.
Candidates should have obtained a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from any recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of all subjects, including languages. Candidates must have studied mathematics/ business mathematics/ statistics/ computer science/ computer applications/ computer programming as one of the optional/ elective subjects.
If not, the candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree and must have passed one of the subjects specified above, securing at least 50% of the marks in that subject in 12th standard, HSC, PUC, A level, or Equivalent.

MVA aspiring candidates must have obtained a minimum aggregate mark of 50% marks in the qualifying university examinations. The bachelor’s program pursued must be from a recognized university in India. They can apply to only that specialization in which they have done their bachelor’s degree.

The Bengaluru Central University admission process is dependent both on merit and also accepts various State and National level entrances based on the program or stream the candidates choose.
1. The application for multiple university programs is available on the official website of Bengaluru Central University.
2. Registration for the Bengaluru Central University can be made online by paying the necessary fees and applying with the necessary documents and required information.
3. The shortlisted applicants will later be called for a personal interview based on the score obtained in CAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ XAT/ ATMA/ KMAT/ GMAT score.
4. The candidates who are unable to attend the personal interview conducted by the Bengaluru Central University can attend a telephonic interview.
5. The Admission also depends on the person or the telephonic interview work experience, if any, or co-curricular achievements, and awards.
