MS Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences (MSRUAS), formerly called Ramaiah University, is one of the top universities located in Bangalore. It’s a private university established by the Karnataka State Act in 2013.

MS Ramaiah University offers in campus hostel facilities for both boys and girls. Students can opt between twin bed or single bed accommodations. Since there is limited hostel accommodation, outstation students wishing to stay in the MSRUAS Hostel facility are required to contact the student’s welfare office for accommodation at the time of admission.
However, the students who do not get campus accommodation are provided facilities by the student welfare office to get accommodation in the neighbouring areas around the campus.
Candidates can avail the mess facilities that are available in the university hostel. The University mess serves South Indian Vegetarian and Non-Vegetarian foods. However, there are several cafeterias in and around the campus that serve food, snacks, and beverages as per an individual's taste.

Candidates must have passed in 10+2 or equivalent program with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English individually from any recognized board with marks as directed by the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) examination conducting authorities. The admission for the candidates will be based on the valid rank obtained in NEET and centralized combined counselling by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA).
Candidates must have passed their PUC or an equivalent 10+2 examination board. The examination must be recognized by any board or university with English as one of the subjects along with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology. The candidates who pursued any other qualification as approved by the Pharmacy Council of India can also apply. Applicants must have completed the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission.
Candidates must have passed 10+2 examination or other equivalent boards from a recognized State or Central Board in any stream. The candidates must have obtained at least 45% marks (40% for the candidates belonging to the reserved category) in the qualifying examination.
The candidates must have completed their PUC or 10+2 examination from a recognized board in either Science or Commerce. Applicants who have studied Accountancy or Mathematics as a compulsory subject will also be eligible.

The MS Ramaiah University admissions are based on online mode. Ramaiah University offers more than 150 courses across 14 academic streams.
Aspirants applying for the Bachelor’s program must have passed 12th std or 2nd PUC or equivalent course from a recognized board or institute.
1. MSRUAS admissions for the B.Tech program are offered based on RUAS AT/ COMEDK/ UGET/ KCET/ KEA.
2. MS Ramaiah University admission for B.Sc (Hons.) program is based on RUAS AT/ SAT India.
3. RUAS also accepts SAT exam scores for admissions of various courses.
4. For university admission in BDS, B.Pharm, and PharmD programs the aspirants are required to appear and qualify for the National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET) conducted on an India basis.
5. Candidates applying for the M.Tech program must have to clear Karnataka PGCET GATE with a valid score.
6. MDS admissions at Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences are based on NEET MDS scores.
7. M.Pharm and MBA admissions will be granted based on PGCET.
8. Candidates applying for the PhD and other research programs are based on a written test conducted by the university that is followed by an Interview.
The registration process for Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences begins in January and closes in May every year. The candidates wishing to apply for the courses can download the application from the university official website.
Note: The candidates who have applied for the scholarship must pay the complete tuition fee with the scholarship amount, which will be directly credited to the candidate’s bank account with a communication to the concerned student.
1. Candidates from Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Orissa, NIOS 12th or 10+2 board candidates who have scored 85% and above will be awarded 75% to 85% of the scholarship.
2. The Karnataka candidates scoring 80% and above will be awarded 75% to 80% of the scholarship.
3. Other State, CBSE, and ISC candidates who have scored 75% and above marks will be awarded 70% to 75% of the scholarship.
