Step 1: Applicants can access the online application form and select the required course from the official website.
Step 2: Every course has a different application form. After completing the application form, it must be saved and submitted.
Step 3: The candidates should upload all the documents.
Step 4: Submit Reference Letters. Provide contact details and inform the referees about the selection process as a verification call will be made to the referees.
Step 5: The application fee is non-refundable and should be paid online. Details for making
the online payment are provided in the application form.
The institute follows a multi-step admission process which is based on the overall academic performance of the candidate. The entry requirements vary from course to course, but the common element is passing one of the following entrance examinations: GMAT/ GRE/ CAT/ GATE/ JRF NET/ IIMB Test.
The candidates who are shortlisted are subject to a written test and a personal interview. These candidates should provide 2 letters of reference from persons who oversaw their work and are in a position to comment on the performance of the candidate.
The final selection of candidates will be made by a complete analysis of all the information received from the candidate regarding academic and professional records, as well as the performance in the written test and the personal interview.
IIMB awards scholarships to students so that they do not miss out on the opportunity of studying their desired course solely because of their financial status. IIMB awards are offered based on merit.
Aditya Birla Scholarship: This is a merit-based scholarship which is given to students in their first and second year of Postgraduate Programme (PGP) in Management leading to a degree of Master of Business Administration (MBA). The students may apply for the scholarship in the first and second year provided they are in the top 25% of the batch. The scholarship amount is Rs. 1.75 lakhs.
OPJEMS Scholarship: This scholarship is awarded by OP Jindal Group to a student of the second year. The top 10 students of the first year based on academic performance are eligible to apply. The scholarship amount is Rs. 1.50 lakhs.
Citi Women’s Leader Award: This merit scholarship covers the second year’s tuition expenses. The top 25% of the batch are eligible for selection. The final decision is based on the Citi interviews and review of the statement of purpose submitted by the applicant.
Societe Generale Global Solution Centre India Scholarship: This is a means-based scholarship that covers the entire tuition expenses. The neediest candidates are selected from the first year and the final decision is based on the interview conducted by Societe Generale.
IIMB PGP Alumni First Batch (1976) Scholarship: This is given to a differently-abled male or female student. The scholarship include Rs. 75,000, a medallion and a certificate.
Runwal Education Trust Scholarship: This is given to a 1st-year student on a combination of merit and academic performance. The scholarship include Rs. 1 lakh, a medallion and a certificate.
Hindustan Unilever/ Thomas Scholarship: This scholarship is given on the basis of merit and means to one PGP 1st-year student. This is a scholarship of Rs 1 lakh.
Yes Bank Scholarship: This is awarded to students who are in the top 20% of the batch and are a member of at least one student committee. This is a scholarship worth Rs. 2 lakhs.
NTPC Scholarship Scheme: SC/ ST/ PwD who have passed the first semester examinations in one attempt are eligible for this scholarship of Rs. 48,000 per year.
Employment in Social Sector Scholarship: The recipient of this scholarship will be reimbursed 1/3rd of the tuition fees for every year employed in the social sector (for 3 years)
Ministry of Tribal Affairs Scholarship (ST): This is a means that covers the tuition expense for scheduled tribe students in the PGP first year. The tuition fee is borne by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs GoI.
Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment Scholarship (SC): This scholarship covers the full tuition expenses of meritorious Scheduled Caste (SC) students. This will be borne by Social Justice and Empowerment.
Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment Department of Persons with Disabilities (PwD): This scholarship will be awarded to a person with a disability greater than 40% (a certificate must be issued by a competent medical authority confirming the same). This is a means-based scholarship worth Rs. 2,55,000 per year.
Admission Scholarship: This is awarded on the basis of admission marks. The amount of each scholarship is Rs. 6,00,000.
Merit during the Programme: It is awarded to students in the top five ranks on the basis of CGPA at the end of Term 2 (i.e., Core Terms 1 and 2 taken together). The amount of each scholarship is Rs. 3,00,000.
