JSS Science and Technology University (JSS STU) is one of the top renowned private universities located in Mysore. JSS STU was established in 1963 and is administered by JSS Mahavidyapeetha. The JSS Science and Technology University has two ladies hostel facilities for more than 380 girls. One hostel located in the south end of the campus provides accommodation for about 200 girls.
The other hostel located 3 km away from the university at Hootagalli accommodates around 180 candidates. JSS Science and Technology University, Mysore provides bus facilities for the students to travel from the hostel to the campus.
JSS Science and Technology University has a separate hostel for boys that facilitates accommodation for around 570 students (UG 515 and PG 55). The boys hostel is located on the college premises at the north end of the campus.
