KLE Technological University is a Private University located in Hubballi, Karnataka. It was founded by the Karnataka Lingayat Education Society (KLE Society), Belgaum. In 1947, the KLE Society established the BVB College of Engineering and Technology (BVBCET) in Gadag, Karnataka.
The college attained academic autonomy and was recognized by the University Grant Commission (UGC) in 2007. In 2014, the engineering college was recognized by the Karnataka State Government as an Autonomous Private Institute. Later that year, it was renamed KLE Technology University after its founding KLE Society.
KLE Technological University has successfully lived up to the reputation of its former name, BVB College of Engineering and Technology. As a result, it has occupied a valuable position in the technical education sector of India. KLE Tech University offers UG, PG, and Research programs in various technological fields.
1. KLE Technological University Central Library was established in 1947. It has state of the art infrastructural facilities with more than 1,200 seating capacity.
2. The Central Library at KLE Technological University has a collection of 89,337 volumes of books with 39,400 titles. It also has a subscription to 1,81,200 E-Books from EBSCO academic collections with EBSCO Business Elite sources.
3. The Library subscribes to 11,767 full-test E-Journals from IEL online, ASME, ASCE, EBSCO Management, EBSCO Art and Architecture, Automotive Abstract Besides. It also has more than 6,500 CDs and DVDs.
4. The library at KLE Technological University, Hubballi facilitates remote access to E-resources.

KLE Technological University Admission process is conducted for aspirants to its UG, PG, and Ph.D Programs. Applicants are required to clear the KLE Technological University Cut-off of various entrance examinations accepted.
1. Candidates who clear the KLE Technological University Cut-off for KCET and COMEDK UGET shall be eligible for admission into various courses.
2. BE aspirants have to clear Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) conducted by NTA.
3. Candidates seeking KLE Technology University admission for its B.Arch program must give the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA).
4. M.Tech aspirants should clear KLE Technological University Cut-off for the PGCET examination.
5. For admission to MBA and MCA programs, candidates must appear for KMAT and PGCET.
6. For admission to various Ph.D programs, candidates must answer a Research Entrance Test conducted by the KLE Technological University.
After the selection of each student, a fee challan shall be generated. They are required to pay the fee at Syndicate Bank located on the campus of KLE Technological University. Candidates are required to submit the required documents, a computer-generated admission application and a copy of the fee challan for the KLE Technological University Admission process.
Students shall be issued a provisional admit letter, which shall complete the KLE Technological University admission procedure.
