The Government Dental College and Research Institute is a publicly-owned Dental college in Bangalore. The college is the first and oldest Dental college in Karnataka, having been around since 1958. The college is autonomous and is affiliated with the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS). The annual intake is 60 for BDS and 26 for MDS. All admissions to the college are done through the NEET examination.
