Government Ayurvedic Medical College (GAMC), Bangalore, was established in 1967. The college is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) and approved by Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM). Govt. Ayurvedic Medical College, Bangalore, has always aimed at imparting quality education to it’s students.
GAMC, Bangalore, envisions to be a centre of global excellence in Education, Ayurvedic Medicine, and Health Care. Government Ayurvedic Medical College, Bengaluru, Karnataka, provides Ayurvedic education to the students. It offers BAMS, MD in Ayurveda and Ph.D in Ayurveda courses. The students have to undertake an internship of 1-year duration as a part of the BAMS course.
The BAMS course is offered by GAMC, Bangalore, with an aim of incorporating educational methodologies that help the students to understand, appreciate, and implement the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda. Students are taught to systematically investigate and establish the principles of Ayurveda. Govt. Ayurvedic Medical College, Bangalore, fee structure is affordable to all the sections of the society.
GAMC, Bangalore, are encouraged to practice Ayurvedic Medicine independently as it aims to make them stronger and responsible Physicians who are an asset to the country.
