Bangalore Institute of Technology (BIT), Bangalore, is one of the oldest colleges in the city. It was established in 1979 by Rajya Vokkaligara Sangha (RVS). The institute is recognized by UGC and approved by AICTE. It is also affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU).
