Founded in 1992 by Sri Raghavendra Educational Institutions Society, Sri Krishna Institute of Technology (SKIT) is a private engineering college in Bangalore.

The institute offers programmes at UG engineering levels and is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

The college offers six-year full-time undergraduate degree courses with an annual intake of 600. Admissions to the college are based on results in KARCET (Karnataka CET), JEE, and COMEDK (consortium of private professional colleges in Karnataka).

When does the admission start?
All admissions to engineering courses in Karnataka are based on marks and ranks scored in either of these three entrance tests: CET (Karnataka government test), COMEDK (conducted by the consortium of private college management) or JEE (national level entrance test). While CET and COMEDK tests are scheduled for April and May respectively, JEE tests normally happen in or around January.
