Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.)/Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) Civil Engineering is a 4-year undergraduate engineering degree in Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering. The course is lately sidelined due to IT boom in India but it one of the oldest engineering disciplines in the world. Until few years back, the course was much sought after among Indian students. The course gives both theoretical and practical knowledge to the students. Civil engineer not just work in a construction industry but also in other industries like oil and energy, transportation, petroleum, power and electric utilities etc wherever infrastructure projects and construction facilities are involved.
