Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) Respiratory Therapy is a 4-year undergraduate degree in K S Hegde Medical Academy, NITTE Institutions. This is a new branch of allied health sciences. A professional in this course will be devoted to the scientific application of the technology in order to assist in treatment, management, diagnosis and care of patients with cardiopulmonary and associated diseases. They work with doctors and healthcare professionals in order to evaluate, treat and care for patients. The students are taught how to diagnose and treat cardiopulmonary problems. They help patients to maintain their cardiopulmonary health.
