The students of Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Mechanical Engineering are introduced to basic concepts of Mechanical Engineering. They get extensive exposure to the practical applications in Metal Casting, Welding, Computer-aided Designing and Machine Shop. Some of the subjects include Foundry & Forging, Mechanics of Materials, Mechanical Measurements & Metrology, etc. The 4-year course is divided into eight semesters where the students get both theoretical and practical knowledge on the subjects taught.
