BSc. Operation Theatre Technology is related to imparting theoretical as well as practical knowledge on the work and functioning of the operation theatre. This course prepares students for managing the patients as well as for monitoring what goes in and out of the operation theatre. Students are made to assist the surgeon during operations, administer the drugs, anesthetic gases, drapes and various sterilization requirements in a surgery. With subjects like Clinical Pharmacology, Medicine Outline, Basics of Surgery and many more, the students are made to understand clearly what goes on in an OT.

Candidates should pass 12th Standard with HSC, PUC, or A-Level or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and should have passed English as one of the subjects. The Candidate should have completed 17 years of age on 31 December of the year of admission.
