B. Sc. in Cardiac Care Technology is a 4-year undergraduate degree including 1 year internship provided at Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences, College of Allied Health Sciences. During invasive cardiovascular testing, a cardiac technologist assists a physician. They perform tasks that require less medical training before and during a procedure so that the doctors can focus better on the results of the test. A cardiac technologist assistant can do a variety of specialities such as invasive cardiology, vascular technology, echocardiography and non-invasive cardiology.
