Bachelor of Physiotherapy (B.P.T.) is a 4-year undergraduate course in Kempegowda Institute of Physiotherapy college. The duration of the course includes 6-months compulsory internship. It is a science of physical movement that is aimed at preventing diseases and disability. The students are taught physiotherapy, which is a branch of healthcare that applies to the physical movement of parts of the body that are threatened by ageing, pain, injury, disorders, disease etc. with the help of exercise, massage, counselling or advice. The students learn an advanced level of physiotherapeutic skills like manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and the application of electro-physical modalities. A physiotherapist can be sure a range of disabilities and disease which is related to the spine, back, neck, and even stress-related incontinence.

Candidates should pass 12th Standard with HSC, PUC, or A-Level or an equivalent examination and should have obtained 40% aggregate marks in physics, chemistry, and biology (taken together) and with English as one of the subjects.
