Post Basic B.Sc. (PBBSc) Nursing is a 2-year undergraduate programme from Brite College of Nursing. This course aims to give the diploma (GNM) nurses with an added role to assume responsibilities as professional, competent nurses and midwives at a basic level in providing promotive, preventive, curative and rehabilitative services, make independent decisions in nursing situations, protect the rights and facilitate individuals and groups in pursuit of health, function in the hospital community nursing services, and conduct research studies in the areas of nursing practice. The students are trained to become skilled professionals who take care of the society with maximum care, concern and integrity.
