The Diploma in Medical Imaging Technology course in the Institute of Nephro Urology takes in 20 students every year. It deals with the study of different imaging techniques which are in use in the healthcare industry to detect diseases with no external manifestations or to check the severity of one. For students who have cleared their 10+2 or PUC or equivalent qualification, the course duration is of 2 years, whereas for students who have cleared only class 10 via SSLC or any other equivalent examination, the duration is of 3 years.
