Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) Preventive and Social Medicine is a 2 to 3 years post graduate course in Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute. The students are taught how to prevent various communicable and non-communicable diseases and find a cure for them. The students are taught how to promote health in the society. The students are given in-depth knowledge about health, outbreaks, investigation & prevention of diseases.
