Doctor of Medicine (MD) Microbiology is a 3-year long postgraduate course in Vydehi Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre. The students are taught various sub-discipline like virology, mycology, parasitology, and bacteriology. The students study the organisms and infectious agents that are not visible by the naked eye and their interactions with other organisms.
