Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Sericulture at the College of Agriculture is a 3-year program. The course teaches students the methodologies of silk farming, for agricultural as well as for commercial purposes. Students get in-depth knowledge of the metamorphosis of the silkworm and how it is used to make silk textiles.
