Doctor of Medicine (MD) Emergency Medicine is a 3-year postgraduate course at JSS Medical College and Hospital. The students are taught how to prevent, diagnose, manage any urgent aspect of an illness or injury. It is the same for all age groups, physical and behavioural disorder. The course includes a broad field of knowledge that includes general medicine and surgery. These students after completing the course will practice in hospital emergency departments.

MBBS Degree holders should be from a college recognised by the MCI and the Government of India. The college should be affiliated to any university established by law in India and they should have completed a rotatory internship on or before the 30th of April on the year of admission.
