Doctor of Medicine (MD) Paediatrics is a 3-year post-graduation course at JSS Medical College and Hospital. The course provided by the college prepares a student who can treat the health needs of neonates, infants, children and adolescents. The student needs to have an MBBS degree from a government recognised institute or registered permanently with the Medical Council of India or any other State Medical Council to apply for this course. An MD in Paediatrics deals with a branch of medicine and medical care for infants, children and adolescents. The age limit of the patients usually ranges from birth up to 18 years.
