Doctor of Medicine (MD) Physiology is a 3-year long postgraduate course in KLE’s Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Belagavi. The students are taught the normal biological function of the body and how abnormal functions in human diseases are treated. The students are taught how to do translation research and develop new methods to treat a disease. At the end of the course, the students can work in colleges and universities as professors, hospital administrators, healthcare service and military service.
