Doctor of Medicine (MD) Community Medicine is a 3-year postgraduate course in KLE’s Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Belagavi. This course focuses on the health of the community members of a particular region. The students studies the biological and chemical components of the food we eat on a daily basis and how it helps to maintain individual health. The students are also taught the digestion and metabolic function of the body. The students learn the problem of society as a whole.
