Post Doctorate (DM) Cardiac Anaesthesia is a 3-year doctorate course in KLE’s Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Belagavi. The course is designed to train the students on the principle and practice of Cardiac anesthesia and intensive care. The course aims to impart comprehensive training to the candidates to function as a member of faculty in the specialty, carry out and conduct applied research in this field and plan or set-up an independent unit to cater to cardiothoracic vascular surgery and intensive cardiac care.
