Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Paediatrics is a clinical speciality course dealing with the medical care of infants, children, and adolescents. The students are trained in understanding the health needs of newborn babies to 18-year old adults. They also learn about the nutritional and feeding practices to be adopted by young parents. Some of the subjects taught include Neonatology, Renal Disorders, Behavioural and Developmental Disorders, Gastrointestinal and Liver Diseases, etc.
