Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Physiology is a non-clinical postgraduate program offered to medical students for 3 years. They study the normal biological functions of the human body and its internal organs. They learn translational research methodology to develop new techniques in the diagnosis and treatment of ailments. Subjects taught include Basic Biochemistry, Cells & Tissues, Muscular System, Skeletal System and other organ systems.

The candidates should have completed MBBS or done their Postgraduate Diploma from any recognized medical college or university and passed the qualifying examination with 55% or above aggregate marks. They should have appeared for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Post Graduate Examination (NEET PG) and obtained the minimum cut-off percentile to specialize in Physiology.
