During the Doctor of Medicine (MD) in General Medicine course, the students are exposed to not only Internal Medicine but also to other subspecialties and allied subjects. During the course period, they are engaged in clinical rotations, attending seminars and workshops, presenting scientific papers and research studies. They learn advanced treatment methods, especially non-surgical techniques to treat ailments of internal organs. Some of the subjects covered in the syllabus are Clinical Medicine, Genetics and Diseases, Clinical Pharmacology, Nutrition, and Infectious Diseases.

The candidates should have completed MBBS or Postgraduate Diploma from any recognized Medical college with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks.
