The Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Anaesthesia course is designed to impart theoretical knowledge on basic sciences relevant to Anaesthesia, including Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Pathology, Statistics, and Physics. The students learn bedside procedures such as diagnostic, therapeutic, and radiological techniques. They practice regional anaesthesia, thoracic anaesthesia, cardiovascular anaesthesia, neuroanaesthesia, transplant anaesthesia, and paediatric anaesthesia during the course time.
