Eligibility & Registration
Candidates have to meet the following eligibility criteria to apply for Karnataka PGCET:

MCA | Students with a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science with a minimum of 50% marks can apply for this course. |
M.Arch/ ME/ M.Tech | Students with a valid GATE score or an Engineering or Architecture Degree, with a minimum of 50% or equivalent CGPA, can apply for this course. |

The above-mentioned marks are for the general category students. Marks for the ST/ SC and OBC students need to be around 40% or equivalent CGPA. Candidates with prior work-experience can also apply for the exams. There is no minimum or maximum cap on the number of work experience for a particular course.
Though, if a candidate is willing to go for a part-time course, then he/ she has to have a minimum work experience of 3 years. Karnataka PGCET allows certain students to avail reservation of seats while they apply for the examination. Only the students who are of the native origin of the state of Karnataka can be a part of this reservation process, provided they meet the criteria mentioned below.

Candidates can register for Karnataka PGCET by following the below-mentioned steps:
Step 1: Visit the official website of the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA).
Step 2: Candidates need to click on the "New User" Tab.
Step 3: Details such as Name, Gender, Age, Nationality, Contact Details, and other information needs to be filled up by the candidate.
Step 4: Candidates will receive their Unique ID and Password on the Email ID and Mobile Number provided by them.
Step 1: Candidates need to login to their respective accounts using their User ID and Password, which they have got at the time of registration.
Step 2: The above process shall lead them to the "Student Information Page".
Step 3: In the "Students Information Page", candidates have to fill in their Details, Contact Details, Academic Details, Work-experience Details, and others.
Step 4: Candidates need to save the above information and then upload the required documents.
Step 5: After that, they will be directed to the Declaration Form wherein they have to check it and submit the form.

Step 1: Visit the official website of the Karnataka Examinations Authority.
Step 2: Log in to your student portal using your User ID and Password.
Step 3: Take your cursor to the "Payment Status Tab" for the dropdown menu.
Step 4: Click on the button that says: "Click here to Edit Application."
