Symbiosis National Aptitude Test or SNAP is a national-level entrance examination conducted for students who want to pursue MBA from campuses under the Symbiosis International University. Eligibility & Registration

SNAP Registration:

Candidates can follow the below-mentioned steps to go about SNAP registration:

Step 1: Visit the official website of SNAP.

Step 2: Click on the "Apply Now" tab on the website and then on the "Register Tab".

Step 3: Fill in the required details such as:

  • Name of the candidate
  • Date of Birth
  • Email ID
  • Mobile Number
  • Citizenship
  • Preferred test city
  • Candidate's photograph

Step 4: Candidates have to submit the OTP sent on the registered mobile number.

Step 5: They shall receive their login credentials after completion of the registration process.

How to fill up SNAP Application Form?

Step 1: Candidates have to visit the SNAP 2023 official website and log in using credentials.

Step 2: Candidates have to fill up the following information and documents in the SNAP 2023 application form:

  • Personal information
  • Work experience
  • Education details
  • Select programs
  • Address for correspondence
  • Preferred test city
  • Current passport-size photo

Step 3: Click on "Save and Continue" and submit the form after paying the application fee.

SNAP Application Fee:

Candidates have to pay an amount of Rs. 1,750 for the exam. Apart from this, they have to pay Rs. 1,000 extra per program per institute.

They can pay the fees through the following methods:

  • Billdesk Payment Gateway
  • Indian Bank Payment Gateway
  • Easebuzz Payment Gateway
  • Demand Draft (DD)

If the candidates want to make payment through Demand Draft, then they must get a Demand Draft of Rs. 1750 from any Nationalized Bank in favour of "Symbiosis Test Secretariat", which must be payable at Pune.

In the payment option, choose DD and take a print out of the print advice form. Sign the advice form and then send it along with the DD only to the "Symbiosis Test Secretariat" at the following address:

Documents Required:

Candidates are only required to upload a recent passport-size photograph on the SNAP 2022 application form.

Candidates should meet the following eligibility criteria for SNAP:

1. Candidates should have completed their graduation from any recognized university.

2. Candidates studying in the final year of their undergraduate course can also apply.

3. The general candidates should have secured a minimum of 50% marks.

4. Candidates belonging to the reserved category should have scored a minimum of 45%.

5. The candidate must be an Indian citizen.

6. Overseas Citizen of India (OCI), Non-Resident Indian (NRI), Person of Indian Origin (PIO), and Foreign Nationals are also eligible to apply.

7. The exam does not have any age limit.

The Symbiosis International University and other affiliated institutes follow a reservation policy to allot seats as per the UGC guidelines. The percentage of reserved seats for each category is as follows:

Step 4: Candidate's answer key will be displayed on their respective screens.

Step 5: They should download the answer key and keep a copy for future use.

Steps to Challenge SNAP Answer Key:

Exam conducting authorities allow candidates to challenge the answer key. Following are the steps to download the answer key:

Step 1: Candidates have to visit the official website of SNAP.

Step 2: They have to click on the link for Answer Key.

Step 3: They have to login using their credentials.

Step 4: After the answer key has been displayed on their screens, candidates can click on the question number that they want to challenge.

Step 5: Click on the Save button after selecting all the questions that need to be challenged.

Step 6: Candidates need to upload the documents that support their objection/ challenge.

Step 7: They have to pay a fee of Rs. 590 per challenge through any of the following options:

  • Debit Card
  • Credit Card

If a candidate's challenge is genuine, the authorities will consider the challenge and modify the official answer key. The results of the candidates will also be released according to the modified answer key.

SNAP Cut-off:

Candidates can check the cut offs by following the below-mentioned steps:

Step 1: Visit the SNAP official website.

Step 2: Click on the link of SNAP cut-off available on the homepage.

Step 3: The cut-off of every participating institute is different.

Step 4: Download and save the list for future reference.

The SNAP cut-off is based on the following factors:

SNAP Selection Procedure:

The selection process of colleges under SIU is not solely dependent on the exam. In order to test the skills of the candidates, the authorities conduct 3 more rounds, which are as follows:

3. Written Ability Test

Each of the rounds tests different kinds of skills of the candidates. The important details of each round are described below:

Group Discussion (GD):

1. Every group will consist of 7-8 students, and a group coordinator will be assigned to each group.

2. Each group gets a particular topic to discuss.

3. The candidates get a few minutes to gather their thoughts and prepare for the topic.

4. It tests the candidate's coordination skills.

5. It tests the candidate's ability to communicate with teammates.

6. It also analyzes the candidate's decision-making skills.

7. It is also designed to bring the candidate's leadership skills to the limelight.

Personal Interaction (PI):

1. It is an interview round that is conducted by a panel of interviewers.

2. The interviewers analyze the candidate's soft skills, interpersonal skills, etc.

3. They also test the candidate's confidence level and his ability to communicate with clarity.

4. The interviewers also take the candidate's educational background and professional background into consideration during the interview.

Written Ability Test (WAT):

1. In this round, the candidate must write an essay on the given topic within 25 minutes.

2. It tests the candidate's written communication skills.

3. It also helps the authorities to analyze the candidate's time management skills.

4. The candidate's knowledge and ability to deliver a message is also tested through WAT.

5. The authorities also analyze the candidate's language skills.

The authorities of the SNAP exam give importance to each part of the selection process. However, the SNAP exam score is given the highest importance. During the preparation of the final merit list, every section of the selection process is given a different weightage.
