The Diploma Common Entrance Test (DCET) is a state-level entrance examination that allows students to seek admission into 2nd Year Engineering Programs and 1st year Architecture Programs under the lateral entry scheme.
Programs under the lateral entry scheme are offered by top evening and day colleges all across Karnataka. DCET is conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) every year. Apart from the DCET accepting colleges, candidates can also pursue programs under the lateral entry schemes in other colleges in Bangalore.
