Karnataka Teacher Eligibility Test (KARTET) is a state-level exam conducted by the State Education Board of Karnataka. KARTET is an eligibility exam conducted for candidates who want to build their careers as teachers in government schools across Karnataka.
Candidates will be awarded a Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) Certificate after qualifying for the Karnataka TET exam. The validity of the certificate is 7 years. The exam is conducted in 2 sessions. Paper I is for candidates who want to teach in the primary classes (I-V), and Paper II is to teach upper primary classes (VI-VIII).
Candidates who want to teach students of primary and upper primary classes (I-VIII) can appear for both papers. The demand for teachers equipped with skills and knowledge in top government schools in Bangalore is high.

Aspirants must have completed their Diploma in Education or Bachelor in Education to fit the basic eligibility criteria for the exam.
