Overview

We understand that not many students prefer the academic way of life. Theory and memorisation of lengthy notes is not everybody’s strength. That is why we highly recommend the Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Courses.

All these industrial trade courses are a part of the Directorate General of Employment of Training (DGET) in the Ministry of Labour and Employment. While there are some private institutions that are authorised to conduct these courses, it is mostly offered in government-funded academies or government institutions. These courses provide training for technical and non-technical trades. These courses incorporate hands-on training for each trade giving the student an opportunity to learn all practical aspects of the trade.

It also provides a faster chance to be employed these days. However, students must note that after their chosen course, they write the All India Trade Test, also known as AITT. Only those students who pass that test will be awarded their National Trade Certificate.

We have curated a list of courses for the interested student. Some of these courses are only three months while some courses are for four years. However, it is solely the responsibility of the student to ensure which course best suits their interest. Students from around India can attend their desired course as there are centres around the country.

Students must ensure that they have passed their 12th standard to quality for admission into any of these courses. While there are hundreds we have found 20 popular ITI courses.
